Queens Jubilee Mural
by Exploring Senses
and Sinna One
In July 2022, Exploring Senses artists took on an exciting commission to create a mural in honor of the late Queen’s Jubilee at the Priory Oak Centre within Lewes Priory Oak School, a space dedicated to neurodiverse young people. Our approach was immersive and hands-on, offering a variety of creative activities, including toy hacking, 3D pen art, cardboard crafting, and digital drawing with Procreate.
One standout moment came when a student designed an incredible mural using Procreate. Inspired by their work, we chose to bring this digital design to life on the wall, complemented by a second mural that mashed up artworks from all the students who participated in the workshops. To make this vision a reality, we collaborated with local graffiti artist Sinna One, who brought his expertise in spray paint to guide the students in creating vibrant graffiti murals. Sinna One’s ability to teach and inspire young people with spray can techniques is exceptional, and we highly recommend his services.
This project was a blend of fun, creativity, and community, and we’re eager to take on more initiatives like this in the future!
