Exploring Senses have been using 3D pens for workshops and creating art pieces for many years. The workshops are very successful, with both children and adults, as using the 3D pens is very therapeutic.
The process is similar to a hot glue gun as the PLA filament (Corn starch not plastic!) is fed through the pen and melted and then you can use the pen to draw your design, the PLA quickly cools and hardens to create beautiful artworks.
