Now You See Me

Exploring Senses artists David and Tamsin Allistone were hired by Artswork to lead 'Geometric Mutations' workshops for the Young Cultural Changemakers program in Arun. These sessions, held at West Sussex Alternative Provision College in Littlehampton, taught students to use Procreate for digital graphics and 3D pens for creating unique artworks. Their creations responded to earlier work by local artists in spoken word, photography, graffiti art, local history and youth culture. Additionally, David Allistone and Artswork artist Beccy East assisted young people is designing posters for the exhibition at Littlehampton Train Station and created double-sided flyers to promote the event.

This exhibition has been developed through creative workshops co-designed with young people at the West Sussex Alternative Provision College as part of the Young Cultural Changemakers Programme led by youth arts charity Artswork. The programme supports young people to make a positive, creative change in their community and this exhibition explores feelings about Littlehampton, its risks and challenges by young people not currently in mainstream education.
